The Piazza San Marco (aka Saint Mark’s Square) is the main area in Venice.  It was full of guided tour groups, vendors selling carts of souveniers, gondeliers offering rides, people eating gelato, and pigeons.   We spent time there, during our 2nd and 3rd day in Venice.

Day three of Paris was not only special because we were in PARIS, but also because it was Funnel’s 28th birthday.  We started the day with him opening some of his presents in bed:

Montmartre is in Paris’ 18th arrondissement, and the highest area of the city.  It’s best known for it’s Basilica of Sacre Coeur, the white church at the top of the hill:
