One of my favorite movies at Christmastime is “Love Actually“. If you haven’t seen it, it follows the lives of eight different couples/families in London during the month before Christmas. All of their lives are kind of intertwined, and it explores love in all of it’s various forms – between husband and wife, father and son, brother and sister, etc. The movie starts and ends at the Heathrow Airport and here is a quote from the movie:
“Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion’s starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don’t see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it’s not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it’s always there – fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge – they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I’ve got a sneaky feeling you’ll find that love actually is all around.”
Loveletter Photography is my Heathrow Airport. I get to be a part of and witness so many sacred, special things:
the giddiness of being engaged….

promising each other “forever”…

precious, tiny babies….

beautiful families…

babies turning one…

It is my honor to get to document such beautiful lives and beautiful people.
I am blessed.
And love really is all around.
Have a wonderful, merry, happy Christmas & New Year!
Love,
Jen
