{ home }

 After two weeks of waiting, the house is ours.

It won’t officially be ours until the endish of May, but for all intents and purposes ((and assuming we can jump through all the hoops that await us)) it is.

We should be living in our little house, in our little neighborhood, in Pataskala, Ohio in just over a month.

    CONGRATS! How awesome! I’m glad it worked for you.

    Not to dampen the mood, but there’s still a long way to go. My best advice is to have all of the stuff you have to do (secure financing, inspections, etc.) well before the deadline. It’s the only thing that saved our butts when we bought our house from a completely unprepared and incompetent seller.

    That must be an amazing feeling. Do you feel like an official grown-up now? What a milestone. I can’t wait to see how you decorate. You have awesome taste.

    It doesn’t seem like a “little” house to me, though…but it sounds more affectionate and endearing to call it such.

    Hey Jen! That is awesome you and Funnel were able to get the house. I’m a little concerned you might have made a bad choice though. The windows look a little crooked which is a sign that the builders might not have known what they were doing when they built it. It’s also a little plain looking – they could have at least painted the shutters or something so it wasn’t all white. You guys can probably do that once you move in though. You might want to look into replacing that tree in the front, it looks like it’s dying. It looks like there isn’t anything around your house for miles, which will probably be nice if you want to do some farming. Good luck!
