goodbye oh-eight.  I am a little glad you are leaving me.  You challenged me and beat me up a little and although you gave me some great memories, I’m ready to put you in the archive.

hello oh-nine.  I wonder what you will hold for me, what challenges and trials and loss and ”movie moments” I will experience, what songs will become my soundtrack, what new people will come into my life.  You give me hope.  I hope I’ll become a better person while you’re here.
