zach & sara.

Over the weekend, I did my first ever engagement session… in the freezing cold! Sara and Zach went to Otterbein with me and they are getting married next May. They have great chemistry and are so in love and I think it shows in the photos. We went to Inniswood Gardens for their session, and I’m glad we did it outside, despite how chilly it was, because at the end it started snowing! So pretty!

I’m assuming you’ve heard the Ben Folds song “Zak and Sara.”

@ Katie: Thank you so much! The first one is my favorite one too.
@ Sarah: Isn’t that so cute that they have a song like that? Why isn’t there a song called “Jen & Funnel” ?
@ girlrunningaround: Thank you!!! I’ve been following your blog and I hope you get your wedding photos soon!
@ Ali: Thanks Ali!
@ Debbie: Thanks Deb! I still want to do photos of you and Dan sometime.. and you wouldn’t need to get engaged! And I agree.. May will get here soon, even though it doesn’t feel like it.

Your comment to my comment was funny.
Also—was Zach in Pi Sig, do you remember? If so, I think I took a class with him my freshman year.

Hi Jen, thanks for your comment on my blog about my grandmother. Fortunately for the love and hope that Christ gives us, I am able to cope with her death. And yes, it has served as a little wake-up call for me to share the gospel with loved ones. I hope I am able to muster up some courage some time soon.
Your photos are lovely by the way. The first is my favourite; how adorable! Zach and Sara were very lucky to have white fluffy snowfall in their shoot- it’s rare!

Wow, I’m really impressed that this was your first ever engagement session. Now I am really excited to see what you come up with for the “laugher” challenge I posted today!
