busy!

October has been the busiest month I’ve had in awhile.  My weekends and evenings have been pretty tied up, so I haven’t had a chance to get caught up on things I need to be doing, so I’m pretty stressed out.  I’m planning on powering through some of this stuff tonight and tommorow evening (after I get home from working.. yeah, working on a Saturday… blah).  A night of drinking tea and putting in some of my favorite movies while I edit wedding pictures on the laptop sounds really great.

I also am taking Monday and Tuesday off of work to get a lot of things done, de-stress and get ready for the Monday and Saturday weddings I am shooting this week.  I’ll feel so much better when I can get some of this stuff crossed off my list.

And If I can just hang on for a little while longer, Funnel and I are going away to South Bass Island (Put-in-Bay) for our anniversary two weekends from now.  The island is really quiet this time of year and I hope we can have a relaxing, romantic time together.  Our schedules have limited the time we’ve been able to spend together and I’ve really been missing him lately.  But it makes it so nice when we do get to really hang out and have fun together.  I feel like I appreciate him more.

Last weekend, we spent our Saturday in Yellow Springs/Cedarville… my favorite place with my favorite person.  We did some traditional Jen & Funnel things and visited some of “our” places.  Funnel said, “We should make coming here our yearly fall tradition.” Aw!:)

Since I am going to be watching some movies while I get caught up on my photo-editing, I want to ask you guys, what are your:
a.) top-3 favorite movies
b.) favorite romantic movie (what I’ll probably end up watching)

Awww, Jen! I hope when I’m married someday that I’ll still feel like I “miss” my husband. I want to cry!
That photo is going to find its new home as my desktop background. Thank you.
I envy your happiness. (But not your busy-ness!)

    To answer your questions:
a.) Gone With the Wind, Dumb & Dumber, and Life is Beautiful
b.) I like 13 Going on 30, but it’s not as romantic as many other movies…. Hmmm…. The Lake House is really wistful though.

Favorite movie of all time…. The Sandlot
Favorite Romantic Movie… Father Of The Bride

Also, I feel your pain with being soooo busy, and with missing husband-time. John & I are dying for the day (which is soon approaching) when we can just relax together in the evenings & not have to worry about the “5 other things” we have to do before relaxing.

Hang in there, it sounds like you will soon have a beautiful anniversary getaway! It will make all of the late nights/stress worth it:)

Thinking of you & praying for you!

    In Him,
