Pinwheels for Peace, Tussing Elementary School.

I live near an elementary school, and the other day, I noticed there were dozens of pinwheels out front.  This evening, I ventured out to take a closer look and to take a few photos.  They are “pinwheels for peace”  for the International Day of Peace on September 21.  The children wrote about peace on one side of their pinwheel, and drew artwork about peace on the other.  You can read more about the project here.
