Becca is a girl I know from work and this spring she and her fiance eloped!  When she first told me about it, it was so apparent to me that her wedding day was about her and Spencer committing their lives to each other; not about the superficial details and the “it’s all about me” attitude that a lot of people get caught up with when they are planning a wedding.  I don’t know how you could get any simpler than just you, your partner, and an officiant. 

A couple of months after they got married, they decided to have a reception here in Ohio for their family and friends.  I was so excited when she asked me to be the photographer!

We did some photos at Franklin Park Conservatory and then the reception was at a little sports bar, which they totally transformed into a really pretty space.  It reminded me of the last scene in “Sweet Home Alabama.”
