ducks and geese.
In the little pond right outside of our apartment there are several little flocks of baby ducks and geese. I think I’m going to die because they are so cute and I just have to kidnapp one and keep it in our bathtub.
((They are hard to photograph because the Mama’s hiss at you and are scary. Especially the geese.))

When my grandparents were still alive, we’d go visit their home, which was in a neighborhood with a couple ponds. I loved watching the baby ducks with my grandmother. These photos bring back those memories. It was so peaceful.
…Unless the mamas hiss at you, I guess!

These pictures take me back to our College days – we had lots of baby ducks and geese!!! These are beautiful Jen. Can I get some copies of them so I can make some cheery cards? They would also make great Mother’s Day cards! Did you see “Jon and Kate plus 8″ last night? They went to the Pittsburg Zoo – and the girls and I were thinking that we def. need to go there and see the Polar bears. you in? Love you…

I just saw my first little flock of baby geese yesterday morning on my way to school!! it was exciting- they were making their way to our little pond in the front. it made me happy.
