michele & joe.

This past Saturday, I had my very first “real” wedding photography gig (meaning, I was responsible for the pictures, not just helping someone else).  It was a beautiful, unique wedding on a farm in Indiana, and although an ominous sky was present for most of the day, the rain held off.  Joe and Michele were just an adorable, giddy, joyful couple and it was fun being around them Saturday.

My friends John & Ali helped photograph the wedding too, and I am thankful that they were willing to help me out and I’m excited to see their photos!

Anyway, here are a few of my favorites:

Ah, I wish I would have known! I could have gone to the wedding and hung out with you! By the way, nice job! Consider yourself as having a standing gig of doing my wedding, if that ever happens.

I am not a fan of just any art, but let me tell you, I’m a fan of yours! I am so impressed with your pictures! I love the tall silos, the different focus points with Michele and her bridesmaids in the receding background, the pictures of just their feet, and the photo of her veil blowing (you probably developed an affinity for veils blowing, didn’t you? ;-) ). You will go far with this talent!
