    Jen,

I am glad I found someone else who understands the need to journal, since you also long for a fire safe. You asked about my journaling preferences. I have to type out entries and then tape them in my journal if I have a boat-load to say. (College life seems to provide plenty of drama, doesn’t it? So I do often type.) But handwriting is its own kind of catharsis or therapy, if those are the right words. So I understand the draw there (no pun intended). How often would you say you write in your journal? I had a long lapse of about a year, but in June I got back on track and I’ve been writing every week since. I am sure we will want to remember what things were like for us at this age.

Do you also draw/doodle in your journal? I don’t, but I’m not as artistic as you!

Also, you probably already know this from Facebook, but Jason Dunbar proposed to Sarah Yaussy and she said yes.

    Merry Christmas!

I just read about the marriage conference you attended. If you want to read a good book together, get “Marriage on the Rock” by Jimmy Evans. There is a book and a workbook. Brent and I just did that through our chruch (we watched the DVD as a group and did discussion. On our own we read and did the workbook). Jimmy is so funny and practical. It was the best thing that we have done in terms of premarital stuff.
