In less than a month, we will be vacationing for a week in the little victorian fishing village that is Cape May, with my parents and my Grandma June.

We’re going to bring bicycles, books to read on the beach (I need to catch up on my McSweeneys subscription!) and movies to watch in the evenings. I’m excited because we are making plans to go on a whale-watching excursion and and maybe take a side-trip to Philly on the way home.

It will be grand.

I am going through training next week with my friend Amber for a possible new job. A job that doesn’t involve a long commute, filing, sitting at a desk for 8 hours, or math.

I’ve been taking a lot of photos lately. We both have. Funnel got some good shots of the meteor shower the other night. I took some photos of Brandon’s band.

Kirpi wants to be in a band too.

Autumn is on its way. Ohio is at its best in the fall, and I think I am too. Hoodies & scarves, warm beverages, flannel sheets, carving pumpkins, anniversaries & love.
