Until now, everywhere I have lived has started with an “M” or “W.”

Westlake, Ohio
Mayfield, Ohio
Manassas, Virginia
Warrenton, Virginia
Massillon, Ohio
Westerville, Ohio.

I am kind of sad to realize that the cycle has been broken. Maybe, the “M-W” was just a pre-married thing and now we’re on to a  ”R-something else” thing.

Another observation:
Ohio is “the heart of it all” and shaped like one, and “Virginia is for lovers.” ((That makes me smile.))

Our hedgehog: We’ve named her “Kirpi”.  It means “Hedgehog” in Turkish.  I love her so much.

I was doing one of those silly little surveys that people post on their myspace pages and it asked what my favorite thing about the same sex is.  I think it is a woman’s ability to wear her heart on her sleeve.  That is a brave thing to do.

I have been in an all-around melancholy mood lately.  It’s because of my job and my lack of free-time lately.  This spring is too busy –  I don’t think I even have a free weekend until sometime in June.

So I’m taking off Monday, and on Sunday night, we are going to a Bed & Breakfast in the little town of Yellow Springs, Ohio.
