i still remember.

I’m calling it “office art”.
###
I’ve had a number of good talks this week.
One over a pomegranate martini.
One over some greasy chinese.
One over a bag of animal crackers.
Humans (at least the ones I know) are alike in these ways:
We all are more fragile than others might guess.
We all are trying to do the best we can in life with what we’ve been given.
I think that’s the most we can ask.
I am learning the piano from guitar (which I learned from violin.) It sounds like a disaster, but it’s not.
I also finally watched Motorcycle Diaries the other night. It touched something in my heart. I want to go on a trip like that, but maybe in Italy and maybe on a Vespa. We’ll be like that Kings of Convenience song.

Jen. I check your website way too much. Did you know it’s on my drop-down menu for “Favorites”? Does that make me a stalker? Please keep up the good posting.

Amy — I am also thankful for our talks and I know there will be a lot more over the years too! I am learning a lot from you. I am so excited for you and Caleb to get married and for one day to have many more sister-in-laws! Love you!

Hey Sarah!
And as far as stalking.. I am the ULTIMATE stalker… I have bunch of blogs I read daily (sometimes multiple times, daily) and a lot of them are people I don’t even know and I wish I had the guts to be like, “Hey! I read your blog and I think your life is really interesting to read about” but I don’t. I wish I did. I was looking for you on facebook a while ago, but you weren’t there.
I hope you are doing well and thans for commenting!!!
Thanks so much for reading my site.. it is very exciting to know that people besides my mom read it!

Jen,
You are on facebook? Would that make me a stalker if I wanted to be your friend? I like your blog so much, it is real and I appreciate that. Riding around on Vespas reminds of Scrubs and how the guys had those scooter/vespa type things.
I’m expecting a good talk over greasy chinese tomorrow:)

Katie,
I am OBSESSED with facebook. We should totally be facebook friends! If you want to look me up, I am under Jennifer ‘Immel’ Frederick in the Otterbein Network. I really enjoy your blog too! You have such good insights and I think we have a lot of things in common.:)
