Love is a dress that you made long to hide your knees.
I bought this fabric at JoAnne’s and I’m going to make a dress when I go home in a couple of weekends. Mom says it reminds her of her grandmother.

I wish spring would come. I could live in dresses and skirts.
And spring means many happy things for me besides bare legs. I am very much looking forward to a season of frisbee golf, weddings and maybe a roller-rink birthday party.

I will make you one if the one I make for myself turns out okay… I still kind of stink at sewing.

ooh. cute fabric. what kind of dress do you have in mind?
I had been wishing for snow for the longest time, but the day we got a real snowfall here, I saw a collection of beautiful spring come out. oh how it teased me. now I have a love-hate relationship with snow– more hate today ’cause it took 40 minutes to take ice off my car.

I was thinking of using the same pattern as I did for this derss: http://www.lovelettertypewriter.com/?p=269
But I think I might want something with a little bit fuller skirt, so I can’t decide.
One of the worst things about snow is scraping ice off the car. I can’t wait until I have a garage someday!

I would like to be apart of this sewing action! I am just learning and it seems like Jamie knows a lot about it. My mom is teaching me. How about a sewing bee? I miss you too.
