Our Wedding. Part 1: Getting Ready.

Funnel and I have been married for over two months now. In so many ways, our wedding day seems so far away, but really it isn’t. It was so so lovely, to me. It was happy. It seems like the wait was so long (because we knew from the beginning).

As a little girl, I dreamed about my wedding, and as I got older, I began to become more interested in wedding dresses and color schemes and chocolate fountains. Even then, a wedding was a party, where I would be the princess. But the idea of a wedding changes so much when you find the person you want to marry. It still is a party, but that’s the smallest part of it.

My friend, Stephen, was telling me that in the Jewish religion, your wedding day is the holiest day of your life. I understand that now.
