Artist of the week – Julian Beever

Julian Beever is an English artist who’s famous for his sidewalk chalk art on the pavements of England, France, Germany, Australia and Belgium.  I’ve worked with chalk before and I know how messy it can get and how difficult it is to be precise.  It is unreal how he can transform a space.

Here are just a few of the ones he’s done:

I AM SO IMPRESSED. THAT IS AMAZING, I WANT TO ACTUALLY WALK ON IT AND TRIP MYSELF OUT. THAT WOULD BE REAL GREAT.

So I looked at the pictures without reading the blurb at the beginning and then went back to read the beginning and was surprised at what I was looking at. Wow, that’s really cool! I saw someone doing something similar in Italy, but it was on such a smaller scale. Wow.

I am glad you guys liked him. It’s going to be a tough challenge to find someone to follow these last two artists I posted.
