Thirstday.
My soul is happy and my eyes are very tired.
I need to start going to bed earlier, but there is always too much I want to do (and people I want to see) and I never think about my alarm clock going off at 5:45. And then it does.
And I go back to sleep.
And then I have to rush around.
I am a night owl and so this set-up is just not working for me.
Yesterday, I probably spent six hours in the car. I drove to Minerva, where I met my mom at an old-fashioned diner and we had taco salads. In the booth across the room was a little old lady and a little old man, both exceptionally wrinkled, and she was eating a milkshake that looked bigger than her. He was wearing an old-man hat and he just looked at her with a smile on his face. After that, we went to Henri’s and I had another fitting for my dress. They are doing the bustle next, and then it should be done. I tried on my veil and my flower and my shoes and I felt pretty in them and I can’t wait until I can wear them for real, with my make-up and hair all done up. We also bought double-sided tape. Special kind. For me and the girls (as in my bridesmaids… not my chest.. haha!!!)
I am very excited for this weekend.
Tommorow night, Funnel and I are cooking a special birthday dinner for Shirley.
And I don’t know what else is going on, really, but I am excited anyway.
I need to get my camera cord down here so I can post pictures of the last few weeks.
They are mostly of Hondo.
But there is a chipmunk one.
And some night-driving ones.
And some donkey ones.
And some Amy-cutting-everyone’s-hair ones.
P.S. I changed my page around a little bit. I added links on the side.
