Work.

I started my new job Monday at The Buckeye Ranch.  I think I’ll like it.  At least I do so far.  I have my own office, which I can decorate however I want, I can listen to the radio, and everyone has been really nice. ((Today I found a donut waiting for me on my desk)).  And I believe that what I am doing will, in some form, help kids get the help they need.

I have to go to bed early (10) and wake up early (5:45) and so far, I have barely seen Funnel because he is working the opposite shift as me.  But I know at least being down here is a step towards October and being able to see each other every day. ((By the way, Monday was the two-month mark!))

I am staying in Pataskala with Funnel’s grandma, and her cat Hondo.  I think Hondo likes me a lot but I try not to touch him too much because he makes me sneeze.  I think that makes him like me even more.  He likes girls that play hard-to-get.

A month ago, I was so stressed about everything, but now it’s all fine.  God is taking care of us and has provided exactly what we’ve needed in His perfect timing.

I have been really busy getting adjusted and moved in, but I will call all of you soon (today)!

P.S. This is the ID picture they took on my first day of work…

That Hondo is quite a character. Just sneeze on him and scare him alittle! I bought you another wedding gift….I almost can’t wait until Oct. 28th. (It’s kind of like waiting for Christmas, only better.) love you!
