When the world welcomes us in,
we’re closer to heaven than we’ll ever know.

They say this place has changed,
but strip away all of the technology
and you’ll see that we are all hunters,
hunting for something

Now here we lay alone, in hospital beds,
tracing life in our heads, but all that is left
is that this was our entrance and now it’s our exit
as we find our way home.

When the credits have rolled and the tears have dried,
the answers that we have been dying to find
were all pieced together and somehow
made perfectly mine.

I love that song.
And I love watching stars.

This weekend, I witnessed a beautiful wedding and everyone there was saying to us, “You guys are next!” Our wedding is exactly five months away from yesterday. I am so thankful for such a loving fiance and best friend and I cannot wait for October, but the Lord is really using our engagement period to grow me and convict me in a lot of ways. I really want to become a better person. And I could definitely use some prayers for that.
