Winter finally came to Ohio.

At OCF last Thursday, the speaker, Horace from Jersey Church, said, “I want to die with nothing left inside of me.” He was talking about really, really giving every part of you to God and how so many people go to church on Sunday and if you were to look at a slice of their life during the week, you would see nothing that would clue you in that they’re a Christian. I don’t want to be like that, but so much of the time, I am. I know from experience that my life is just so much better when serving Jesus is the focus of my life, yet, so often, I put other things before Him. I am working on that.

I can only hope that I resemble You in the smallest way. I can only hope that You can be proud of me.

I just realized that we have been engaged for one month, today.
