Painted finger-tips.

Tommorow is Josh and my first day of teaching 6th graders Creative Writing at Genoa Middle School, and Monday, I have my first class with Nick. Last week, when we visited the classes, I was thinking about how I dont really remember what it’s like to be 11 years old anymore and that made me sad. I think it’s weird, because you always think that you could never possibly forget what it feels like to be the age that you are. Right now, I feel like I will always remember being 21 and all these emotions and feeling, but I probably wont. I dont know if there is any way to really preserve that. I wish there was.

This probably sounds weird, but I wish I could converse with the younger versions of me. I think they could give me good advice. There are a lot of qualities that leave you when you get older that would probably be useful to have sometimes.

I think probably one of the cutest things in the world are little dolls that resemble food (especially Mr. Bread):

I’ll be in Cedarville this weekend to visit my lovely Funnel.

I completely agree with wishing I could remember what life was like at a younger age. I’m starting a Bible study group with some 11 yearish girls at my church, and I realized how much I really have forgotten…it makes me a little melancholy…Have a great week, Love you and God bless!
